O, farewell, dear friend, o farewell!
All words and actions were in vain,
And in that lands where people revel
Maybe, we will not meet again.
Who will remember our weather?
Who will admit our sunrise?
We were alone – we were together,
But love we didn’t recognize.
And even now I still remember
You looks I couldn’t understand,
The heavens that were full of amber
And dreams about fairy land.
But did I pass something at parting?
If yes I will not try again,
I’d like to suffer but so cutting
And so severe loving pain.
I didn’t go, I didn’t travel,
I had to hear blatant lie,
That’s why I tell you just my “Farewell”,
Not having right to say “Good bye”!
